If it isn’t your actual name? Mine comes from an idea that John Browning had...
And the quote about Maria in my signature comes from one of my favorite Gaslight Anthem songs. If you never heard their music, i would highly recommend checking them out when you can. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

It says it all!
I an old trucker!
Well over 1.5 million accident / ticket free miles OTR and who knows how many miles I ran short haul and local!
I was originally johnnys1977 and that was from when I had my 77 Elcamino.
I have been known also as PaPaJohn on some sites. That came from Isaac calling me PaPa for grandpa. He was my modeling buddy.
We lost him in 2015 a month before his 4th Birthday.
Miss him every day. |

sentsat71 - Sentral Satellites Class of 1971
School name was derived by three small community school districts merging into one in the late 1950's, and a new high school building was built out in the country a couple of miles from my home town, which is where the Satellites comes from. Sentral instead of Central, came from acknowledging the smallest of the 3 schools, the tiny unincorporated community called Seneca. The other 2 towns involved were Fenton and Lone Rock.....
However today, the only thing left of this school system is the modified high school building, that now only has the lower grades. Sentral was merged into what had become North Union School District, consisting of primarily the communities of Fenton, Lone Rock, Armstrong, Ringsted and Swea City. The lower grades are divided between Swea City and the Sentral building, while Jr & Sr high students all go to the Armstrong campus. The old school building in Armstrong was torn down and rebuilt with a more modern and larger building Of the older school buildings, only one still stands and is privately owned but not maintained and is literally falling apart....more to that story, but not of consequence here... |

In college (out in the rockies by the way) our apartment was in the corner of the floor. There were six of us. Being old west fans, we decided to become the Hole in the Wall gang, or Wild bunch (Butch Cassidy's gang), each of us taking the name of a gang member. I was the Sundance Kid, since I was blond haired and the youngest. It just kinda stuck. I also used it as a cb handle (showing my age there!). _________________ Two of my favorite things, a lovely blond and a Dodge Charger |

I'm from Florida so almost everyone picks one of the big 3 schools to root for, just so happened my Dad and Uncle were huge Gator fans and I was made to go with my Dad to my Uncles house to watch the game. At age 9 I could have cared less about football, so, I was upset I had to go and rooted against the Gators, they so happened to be playing Miami and Miami won that game and I've been a Hurricane fan every since. It was pretty awkward when I went to Penn State and rep'd my U gear, I got teased and made fun of, but, at the time in the early 90's Miami was good and shut those Lion fans up ha ha. Besides, Hurricane Dave has a ring to it _________________ Would love to have time to finish but I have kids:

I love front engined top fuel dragsters from the 60`s. Some of the most beautiful cars ever built in my opinion. Anyway, that`s where it came from. |

When I was younger I liked to stir the pot a little bit. I figured if I was going to be vocal about my opinions, the least I could do was sign my name to them.
These days I bite my tongue more than I used to, but I still stand behind everything I say. |

From a car I owned while growing up in Hawaii.
Just out of high school and with dreams of beating big-blocks on the 1/4 mile (sorry no oval tracks in Hawaii) I took that little 200hp 289 and built it into a screaming 330hp monster. I managed to reduce my times from 18 seconds to some nice low 13's. Enough to beat stock 383s in Chargers and Satellites (Roadrunners and GTXs) and most Ford big blocks except 427s. GM big blocks were still a challenge though. (Of course any engine in a smaller car like Mustangs and Camaros always had a weight advantage. )
This was my avatar before the crash. If I can figure out my issues with re-posting avatars, it will make it's official "come back". |

Bangor, by the sea. The lovely town in County Down, 30 miles east up the coast from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Passed the home town of golf great Rory McIlroy - Holywood - taking the train into Belfast to see family.
It was while living in Bangor as a boy that I was introduced to stock car racing at Clandeboye Park and Portadown's Shamrock Park. |

When I was in high school Hockey as a goalie there were some Hispanic kids calling me Gringo. I changed the spelling to match my last name Greene and came up with Greengo. Nick name that has lasted through my racing years and still get called it today by my friends. |

Mine is from the first forum I ever joined that was for Jeeps. Mine is a 1980 Golden Eagle CJ7 so I went with 80GoldenEagle. The reason I used it here is because I'm lazy and didn't want to have to remember more than one user ID. |

Mine comes from my favorite local car/driver combination from the first track I ever attended races at. First pic is the real car in 1972, 2nd pic is my recreation of that car at the first vintage club race of the year. The driver of the real car attended with his son and grandson, a great night all around! The "Spooker" nickname was his wife's fathers pet name for her when she was a little girl. Never knew that until this spring when I finally found him and was able to speak with him several times.

If you've seen the movie "Ed Wood" you should get the reference (in particular, the scene during the filming of "Bride of the Monster").
Username on old board (ea757grrl) was a reference to the Boeing 757s of Eastern Air Lines. I still love those airplanes as much as ever but past a certain age using "grrl" seems kind of sad, like hanging on too long to lost youth.

I've spent most of my adult life driving in circles for a living, unfortunately not on a race track. I decided that working as a mechanic killed off any enjoyment I had for working on my own cars and stepped behind the wheel of a taxi at 19 years old. About 15 years ago I met a beautiful lady who was a DJ named Christy Michaels when I was living and working in Virginia Beach. She was starting a afternoon call-in show and asked me to be a part of it. So I was christened "Bobby the Cabdriver" and it's stuck. _________________ "And on the 8th day God created the Hemi!" |
