I assume it was red.
Anybody know anything about this car of know of any other pictures?
It's a really cool photo but the only one I've seen.

When you visit the page for that photo someone posted that the source of the photo said that car had a '63 MKII 427 acquired from Jr. Johnson at one point.

I believe it was an ex-GN car but I forgot which one. |

That lady in the picture that Mack linked sure does look well dressed for a stock car race:)

That photo is probably from B.I.R. (Birmingham International Raceway) and during the early-mid 60s they often ran on Sunday afternoons so a lot of people came to the races immediately after church.
Bobby
BTW: Powerslide has the decal sheet to do this car. The sheet also has decals for some of Bobby's other Late Model Sportsman cars.
Here's another photo of the car. Bobby's rubbin' on his brother Donnie:

I had seen the decal a good while back and couldn't remember where.
Before ordering it from another vendor I searched Mike's site and didn't see it.
I searched again and finally see it on a sheet that does 3 cars.
I appreciate all the info and pictures. I wanted to see the front and confirm the color.
I can't tell what's on the hood or whether it's on Mike's sheet.
Thanks, guys. This car is on my to do list for this summer.

Man, that's a lot of talent in that photo. Bobby and Donnie Allison of course, and that's probably Charlie Binkley in the #125 and Freddy Fryar in the #48. Can't see who that is out the outside but probably someone else who won a bunch of races in the '60s and '70s in the southeast. |

This is a 1964 photo from Boyd's Raceway in Chattanooga, Tennessee...great track...actually still around as a dirt track.
