Since completing my 92 and 64 Petty cars, I decided to dig this one out. I have never built one of these Polar Lights kits. I'm not tobsure about them. I had started this one years ago as well and thought it was time to finish it. Painted this one with Testors Big Bad Blue Laqcuer as well. Using Testors Dark Blue in the small bottle for suspension parts. I have a set of Powerslide decals for it, just need to decide which ones I want to use.

Looks good! Should be a good compliment to the other two. |

I love the car but, not overly impressed with the kit. Having issues with setting engine and getting headers to fit. Even with trying to follow tips I've seen else where. One positive note got the decals on and now a coat of Pledge Clear on it today.

a friend of mine is currently restoring his 1969 Torino and wishes to decorate it as King Richerd's 1969 Talladega. He already has it sprayed Petty Blue and the wheels in the darker blue.
The sponsor decals are all found and purchased, but the corect "43" and "East Tenn Ford" lettering are the harder part.
Would you know where to find vector files of the decals ? |
