|
|
Has anyone ever replicated the wiper used for racers, such as in this picture of Earnhardt in Japan in 1996?
Not my pictures
Here's Dallenbach's car in, what I assume is, the same race:
Clearly there is a wiper. I assume the tires would be different too, correct? Anyone ever build a car as if it were prepared to run in the rain? Seems it would be quite rare.
Thanks! |

While the wiper set-up on Dallenbach's car appears to be somewhat conventional, similar to a street car's location, Earnhardt's looks to be mounted directly through the Lexan.

The Revell racer Mustangs have a big wiper that would be correct to use.
Tires are rain tires and if they are like the rain tires we saw at Roval this week looj like Gatorback street tires......do not know of any in scale

Thank you for the picture. When you say "Revell Racer Mustangs" ... what kit(s) are you talking about? I don't think I'm familiar with those.
thanks! |
