In honor of Hershel McGriff's upcoming induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, a photo I took of him in The Winners Circle at Riverside Raceway, November 16th, 1986, celebrating his ( only ) Winston West Series Championship. Upper row 2nd from left is his then crew chief Ivan Baldwin, who would be hired away by Bill Elliott to help with his short track program.
