The only thing close I have seen is Mike's Decals doing the vermillion (red) decals for the Salvino JR Petty kits. Never used them myself, but builders seem to like them.

Allison's car actually had a different roof. If you can find a MCW 71 Torino, it has the right roof, flat hood and racing grill and tail light panel

I agree, a race only version of the Superbird would be my first choice.
Even though it was a bit of a dog on the race track, a Magnum would fill a hole in a lot of peoples Petty collection.

A soak in purple power should strip it, but don't put the resin in there.
