Any tips/tricks on how to get the floor pans in the Gen 7 cars flat?

I used warm/hot water and some weight to fix the first one I built (Bowman Camaro).

Second one I started, I had the water too hot, and it shrunk and is not repairable. Stole the pan out of another kit, but don't want to ruin it.

Thanks!

I have had cold water running, heat it with a blow dryer for hair, over correct it and while still holding it in that position, put it under the stream of cold water. May have to do it a couple times.
You might check with Salvino JR, they might replace the bad part.
