Wow, talk about realistic weathering. This is above and beyond the call of duty in that category. Looks like you got a real Tomkat and shrunk it down to 1/48 scale. James, this build is really something special.

Fantastic detail. Very realistic. Could probably come up with a dozen more words of praise to describe the great job you did.

Great job. Thought for a couple minutes was looking at a real deal, not a model

Your attention to detail and weathering are crazy good! I know nothing about aircraft, but that model is a work of art.

James, that VF-111 Sundowner Tomcat is beautifully and accurately done. I worked on Tomcats with VF-113 Aardvarks and as said above, it looks like the real thing.

The only critique I have is the bottom of your Tomcat is way too clean. Those things leaked engine oil like a diesel locomotive. The upside was the bottom of the A/C didn't corrode. Wink

Miss those 1:1 birds. Navy retired them too early.

I feel the need. The need for speed.

Maybe I can be a truck driver. What's the name of that truck driving school? Truck master?

That's right, Iceman. I am dangerous.

Sorry. I could post quotes from that movie all day. Awesome looking build. I've been thinking of getting back into building military aviation. It was the first subject area that got me into building. Amazing work.
