While digging through my stash, I found this one that was painted, bare-metaled and decaled 11 years ago and never got around to finishing. Moebius 1952 Marshall Teague Hudson Stock Car kit. Box stock. Painted with Testors Bright Platinum Metallic spray can and cleared. Had to redo some of the Bare-metal trim after storage. Had to touch uo some of the decals that didn't quite lay down on the body side trim and it flaked off. Cut the rear wheel skirts out. Another one that's not perfect but glad to have another completed.

Wonder how many of "Today's" drivers would be able to handle a car like that.

Kyle Larson has shown he can figure out most any car he races. And there's a bunch of very decent current drivers - Reddick, Bell, Briscoe, Bowman, probably Byron, too, maybe Chastain - who've shown an aptitude for varied racing situations and could figure it out in short order.

But putting a car of that much girth and weight in the hands of Kyle Busch or Denny Hamlin would be asking for mayhem to happen. That said, if they ever did find the handle, they have the aggression to race well in it.

Geez, it'd be fun to see older model cars run for one event each season on a proper dirt track in the current format. The Retro Race. Be a better event than the Bristol Dirt race nowadays.

So glad you finished this one, Jason. It would kill me knowing I had one almost finished but had not been able to get it completed. The finished model is another excellent build from your bench as always..
