I have a question about the above noted kits. I currently have a Thunderbird on the old bench, but I know that all of the kits share the same chassis. With the chassis upside down, facing away from you, there is a "bell" shaped part molded on the frame rail. Anyone know what this part is? I've always assumed that it was a fuel filter, but the fuel lines are on the other side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Steve

Steve, I've always assumed it was a canister fuel filter. Seems like the right location for that. That said, I would have thought they would have used a more hi-tech in-line filter.

Thanks Spooker, that's what I always thought too. Got to looking today, the fuel lines go down the opposite side of the fuel cell and up the driver's side frame rail. I'm just trying to figure out what it is so I can paint it correctly.

I hope that your feeling okay.

Steve
