Mike soon to release yet another classic scheme for the 90' Pontiac.

I wonder which others are planned. I 'd like the Citgo and Maxwell House T Birds and the #30 Country Time/Maxwell House Pontiac.

wish they included a set of stripes for the trim around the bottom instead of us having to try and paint to match the 27 and MGD decals. Or does the artwork colored to match a readily available paint from Tamiya or other manufacturer?

MCW Paints, they list 2002 gold for this #27 Genuine Draft.

Just need another user to confirm if it's a match for a Tamiya shade.

IMO it would be really difficult to get a decal to contour around the front and rear of that Pontiac body style.

If i did that build, i would use Tamiya gold over black and then dullcoat.

Gloss clear, not flat.

Really looking forward to this one, I've wanted to build this car for a while.

Your opinion versus mine, please be courteous next time and try to phrase it that way

I wonder if the gold used for the soon to be #27 is the same gold used when Brad K. ran the throwback in 2018. The 2018 gold was a bear to match.

I painted this car way back when Testors gold was spray can, and it was flat when dry.

I don't know if I ever used dullcote, but most metallic paint was dull already.

it is modeler's choice.

Contributor Dan Belcher used TS-21 with the kit decals to build his great version of the car. Link to gallery:
