The final race of the 1999 season and Johnny Benson's final race in a Roush Racing Taurus - the NAPA 500 @ Atlanta. Benson, Petty and Elliott ran promotional tie-in paint schemes for the upcoming release of Toy Story 2. Onboard the #26 was Woody, Jessie and Bullseye which led to a wholly unique one-off design.
Today - this could easily be considered as a 'lost paint scheme' as so little media exists of it. It took a while, but I did manage to find all of the original character models used in the final design and I used what I could of the race footage and a rebuilt show-car to place everything. This is about as close to race accurate as I think I'm ever going to get.
Box-build of a 1998-1999 Revell Ford Taurus. Krylon "Bright Idea" yellow spray paint (I wouldn't recommend this one - the dry time until it was no longer tacky was ridiculous... and there was still some reaction with the clear coat after a month+). Duplicolor 1k clear. Decals from SlipsRacingDesigns (thatsa-me!) and currently available through the Print-It Decals website.

3Amigos Decals has the #44 Hot Wheels / Buzz Lightyear decals available already. I am.... entertaining the idea of working on the #94 scheme  |
