DK: It's a beautiful afternoon in Indiana and the sound of racing engines is about to make up the soundtrack in today's story. Hello again, I'm Dave Knight and welcome to the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for 150 laps of Fantasy Cup action! Joining me, as always, is Darrell Waltrip. DW, you've been around this place before. 5 top 5's in the NASCAR Busch Series. What does it take to get around this place?

DW: Patience. The majority of the tracks this series goes to require a tremendous amount of patience. That's hard enough when you've only got 200 laps to get the job done but having 150 is another level of urgency. You've gotta be cautiously aggressive.

DK: And with that, we go trackside.

Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and remove your hats for our national anthem.

And now, please welcome our grand marshal, 4-time Indy 500 champion, Hélio Castroneves.

HC: Drivers, start your engines!

Green Flag

DW: Boogity boogity boogity! Let's go racin'!

DK: Oh, rough start for the outside pole sitter Ken Wallace. He's going to gather it up but the field navigates around him. Tim Wallace leads the field through turns 1 and 2.

DW: Keith Wallace and Amy Hilton both threaded the needle between Ken Wallace and Sheldon Hatterfield.

DK: They'll settle into 2nd and 3rd respectively as Tim Wallace comes out of turn 4 to lead the opening lap in the Lucas Oil 150.

Lap 22

DW: Oh no! We've got a car slow. It's Keith Wallace.

DK: He pulls into the pits immediately. Oh, he's going directly to the garage area. Obviously something amiss on his Ford. We'll keep you updated on that team's situation as we get word.

DK: And no caution, Dave. Amy Hilton is gonna inherit the lead.

Lap 67

DK: Linda Lou Godlewski and Lee Loggins have pushed and knocked their way up through the field. She's gonna assume the 3rd spot from JR Sealey. Tim Wallace continues to hold the 2nd position.

Lap 90

DK: Trouble in turn 3! Wild Bill Godlewski is in the wall! Looks like the right front wheel came off down the back straightaway.

DW: You picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel.

DK: A winner last week, an unfortunate victim this week. Also, we're being told the 23 of Keith Wallace, who was out early, apparently broke a driveshaft.

Lap 112

DK: Linda Lou Godlewski now challenges Hilton for the lead. She'll go high. Hilton holds her off out of turn 2 but Godlewski draws side-by-side down the back stretch. Amy Hilton pitches her Buick to the inside. They stay neck and neck out of turn 4. Godlewski leads this lap by a nose.

Lap 139

DW: Linda Lou and Hollywood have been swapping the lead back and forth.

DK: Give that lap to the 56. The 2 Buick drivers hammering it out. Good hard racing by these 2 ladies.

White Flag

DK: One lap to go! Amy Hilton leading Linda Lou Godlewski. Godlewski coming out of turn 2 with half a car length advantage. Amy Hilton holder her line on the inside. Dives into turn 3. She get's a bit loose. They touch! Godlewski stays in it! They come off turn 4, to the line! Amy Hilton holds on to win the Lucas Oil 150 by a nose!

DW: Wow! What a finish. That was a heck of a battle!

DK: Tremendous effort by these 2 athletes. Here's the rest of the field as they have finished.

1. 3 - Amy Hilton
2. 56 - Linda Lou Godlewski
3. 11 - Tim Wallace
4. 04 - Lee Loggins
5. 46 - JR Sealey
6. 17 - Sheldon Hatterfield
7. 26 - Ken Wallace
8. 72 - Bill Godlewski (Out)
9. 23 - Keith Wallace (Out)

DK: A win by a fender is the first for Amy "Hollywood" Hilton in the Fantasy Cup Series. And with that, we wrap up today's event. Thank you for joining us. For Darrell Waltrip, I'm Dave Knight. We'll see you next week on the dirt of the Lernerville Speedway for the Budweiser 100.
