Finally finished my first Nextgen Camaro kit. Used one of the Chase Elliot kits and bought the decals for Suarez separately. took 88.5 hours. Really a fine kit to build. If you haven't built one yet you should. But dont wing it. You need to follow the instructions.

the wip is the link below, if interested. I go through each instruction box from start to finish in the order they are presented. Point out things that I messed up and why.

Some of you guys said that you were sad that any of the things you added to the chassis could not be seen when you glued the body to the chassis. I came up with a fix for this in the tips and tricks forum. It's a pretty easy solution and it can't be seen when the body and chassis are together.

Looks good. I’ve got an Alex Bowman in the stash I need to get on. Might be a winter project.

I forgot to mention I had to scratch build a Wiper blade and guess on the wiper motor and also scratch built the rear spoiler. The 4 inch spoiler in the kit is not clear like the real car has.

I never thought I'd see Mark Johnson building a contemporary NASCAR car. The shock is almost more than I can bear.

I followed your wip and was completely amazed with your build. However, I won't be joining you in one of these adventures. Way too much crazy stuff for my limited building abilities. I'll have to stick to the "old-timers" that I'm used to.

Beautiful work sir, and I'm 100% impressed with both your idea and your execution. You are way above my head.

Thanks, John. But they are not that hard once you get going on them. The instructions are challenging from time to time figuring out how a part goes on and sometimes you can put the part on wrong, but it will fit, but then the next part won't go on correctly, so you have to go back and correct the part you put on wrong. I'll be going back to vintage stuff after I build one more of these, maybe two. They are kind of expensive.

Does anyone have an image of the wiper motor or the motor /linkage assembly that makes the wiper work? I could not find one anywhere.
