After years of thinking about doing it, I have finally begun to build the 6 Darrell Waltrip cars from his 1997 25th Anniversary celebration. I had done his chrome car a few years ago and wanted to do the other 6 cars in the series.
I am looking for any information, photos, etc. of his 1997 #17 Pepsi 'throwback' scheme (the yellow, white and black car). I am using the limited edition kit and know that some of the decals are incorrect.
I have been able to find details, photos, etc. for the Budweiser, Gatorade, Mountain Dew and Tide cars but nothing regarding the Pepsi car.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your input for my DW cars project..
According to my research, the Waltrip car that DNQ at Charlotte (10/1997) was the 'Gatorade' paint scheme.
I keep looking.........

That's my problem, I can't find which race it ran at. All of my 'sources' list the Waltrip entry as 'Darrell Waltrip Motorsports' entries.
I have been able to narrow down the Budweiser, Tide, Gatorade and Mountain Dew schemes to a specific race but can't find anything regarding the Pepsi scheme. My guess would be sometime in the early 1997 season, but?
Maybe it never ran????

As far as I know it never took to the track. There was an extensive thread about his 1997 cars on the forum before the crash and that was the consensus then, as well.
