I started with this...
And ended up with this...
I did the over all first coat color of FS36375 light gray over gray primer and then masked off the areas of that color (wing edges, tail plane edges, areas around the intake openings, other minor details and the nose) and put the coat of FS36251 Dark Ghost Gray.
I followed this with FS36176 Dark Gray with my airbrush.
I printed my own markings and insignias on decal paper.
The Canopy I painted on the inside with what I think was a combination of gold and copper and then attached it to the plane and masked it off with the rest of the plane for painting. And I also attached the wing tips and filled in the seams with putty before any painting.
This plane came with no drop tanks so I found a couple among my misc parts and added them... not to scale with the plane but I think they look good enough!
This painting was done top and bottom.
Note the Arrestor Hook...

Very cool . It actually looks very similar to the real thing, depending which country it is going to. _________________ Would love to have time to finish but I have kids:
