I want to build the 1971 White Dodge Charger that Buddy Baker drove at Daytona. What totaly aggravates me is the grill part #s 121R and 121L have sink marks in them. I checked all of 5 of the Chargers I have and they are all the same way. I'm not going to get Mikes decals to replace three of them because it's not his fault. He already replaced a short shot Charger for me.
Maybe someone can make an aftermarket grill replacement? |

Sinks marks are a trademark identifier for the brand. Sorry.
Model Car Garage make a photo etch replacement. |

I suggest sanding the texture off and puttying them, then either using the grille decals that are on the Powerslide sheet or the photo-etch parts. I did the artwork for the Powerslide sheet and I sized the grille decals for the AMT '71 Charger, I think they will fit the Salvino's inserts with just a little to spare. |
