My Crisco Grand Prix
Built as it ran at the 1989 Daytona 500. Due to the lack of good photos of the car I took a few liberties as far as the contingence decals are concerned.
Monogram kit
JNJ Decals (30 years old)
Model Car World paints
Powerslide Hoosier tire decals
Special thanks to J.R. Rodriquez for printing the "Greg Sacks" decals and an extra JNJ decal sheet!

I built all those Grand Prix except the Crisco back in the day and none of them looked that good. They all look great. Thanks for sharing |

All very nicely done from the era of laid back spoilers and tons of sponsor decals! _________________ Forum member since 10/25/2010 |

How do you have no seem line for the rear bumper and front fascia? I've build a couple of these and the fit of those pieces is horrid. Yet your's look like they are all molded as one piece. Please share technique! |

Nothing special really. Glue bumpers into place while lining up as close as possible, cut/sand any plastic that rises over the adjacent plastic. Putty with Tamiya putty and wet sand till smooth.
Got my all time favorite GP in the works now.
