I assume you're talking about the Camaro hood, I'd say not really. Looks closer to the production car hood. Here's a couple of good shots of the NASCAR version and one of the street car. I'm sure it could be fixed without too much trouble with a little filler.
Street car...

Sorry about the hood. I did a lot of google searches on the NASCAR Camaro when I was working on the master. Out of all the pictures out there, I could not find a enough pictures of the hood, so I went with a combination of the street car and the race car.
After Daytona there were quite a few pictures out there but still hard to find a clear picture of the scoop.
I made the scoop so it could be fine tuned with a little putty.
Thanks for your suggestion Pat, hopefully it will be close enough to work with.

Like I said, not a big problem as it looks like it can easily be tweaked. Just happy to see the body available. It looks great. I'm sure everyone appreciates all of the hard work that went into it.

Does the hood fit better than the photo shows or do we need to sand etc?
thanks

Bill...I think scooter just laid the hood on the body for show. The Camry kit I have fits pretty good, but will probably need a little light sanding. Try sanding a little and test fit until you're happy with the fit. Remember sand very lightly, resin cuts down very quick. |
