finished this one up last night. Tamiya TS 51 Racing Blue for the body, Testors flat light gull grey for the chassis, lil bit of Tamiya Smoke on the tires. made a fuel filler, fuel overflow, side skirts, trunk rails; added some photo etched grilles (Detail Master?). pictures of this car aren't plentiful on the interwebs, but since it only ran at 3 restrictor plate races (both Talladega and the summer Daytona), the ones i found i feel were accurate. the only thing that is missing is a "Delco" contingency that was located behind the rear wheels. When i did the grilles, i had to add some painted (well, Sharpie) black strip to the back because the yellow decal showed through the mesh. also experimented with tubing for the exhaust- used K&S Metals "streamline" tubing, kinda teardrop shaped.
speaking of decals, Powerslide sheet was great, with one exception... the front stripes are sized to the Olds and did not quite fit all the way around from wheel opening to wheel opening. had to pirate some yellow stripes from another part of the sheet.
so on with the show... Terry Labonte's #94 Sunoco Thunderbird, owned by Billy Hagan
