Ok fellow modelers...when painting your bodies, tell me your processes. I prep the body with fillers and primer, inside and outside. Then paint the inside first, finish prepping the outside of the body, mask the windows from the inside and paint. I polish the outside then decal with setting solution. I've never clear coated a model but am going to the next one I believe.
Let's hear your process _________________ I bleed Ford blue! |

I do about the same process as you do. I prime everything up then paint the inside. Once it’s dry I tape off the openings from the inside and do all my exterior paint. I’ve recently started clearing and polishing before I decal. Then Future over the decals/windows. |

If the inside of the bodywork is gray, I prime inside as well as out, then leave the gray primer or brushpaint with acrylic. Avoids fussy masking issues. _________________ Bill Jobson is my real name. |
