What would be some common rear spring colors for a 1994 thunderbird? Doing awesome bills bud ride. |

I'm pretty sure there were a few different colors. Red, Yellow, Orange etc. In this video on youtube from the 1996 season it shows Mark Martins rear springs yellow but Rusty Wallace front springs look gray.

Always thought the colors represented the softness or hardness of the springs. |

I'm no expert but I believe you are right. Different colors for different spring rates. |

Spring Colors were based upon the manufacturer of the spring. AFCO springs were yellow, Eibach was red, Rockwell/Hypercoils were Blue. While I'm not 100% sure for Bills 1994 car-I would guess Yellow would be a good color choice. |
