I need help with making engine mounts on my apocalyptic vehicle, any ideas...
I'm using a big rig frame from a italeri daf xf super space cab and using a 55 chrysler 300 body/interior to make a apocalyptic vehicle,I picked up a cummins 6cyl diesel for the frame... |

I'm certainly not an apocalyptic vehicle expert but I'd hold the motor in the position I wanted it, decide how far off the frame you'll need to span with the mounts and tackle it with one or more Evergreen or Plastruct channel, boxed tube, or other shaped rod stock.

Made these motor mounts out of solid rod in the method John describes above. Not entirely accurate but they did the job.
