According to my notes on the instruction sheet, I built this car in July 1975. It survived several years in a hot North Carolina attic and was damaged at some point. Enough so, that I every time I looked at it and thought about restoring it, it went back in the box.
Finally decided to fix it. Stripped to the frame. The only thing that isn't from the kit are the rear tires (PPP), rear shocks and a few decals. I did have to "recreate" a few other parts. The body paint, hand lettering and striping are my original. Yes, it was white 45 years ago.

GREAT rework!!

Looks FANTASTIC!!!!! That paint scheme reflects that era. Reminds me of a sprint car I watched run back in 1972 in CRA at Ascot, in the LA Metro area...

But then, I'm a sucker for these kits.....

That sure looks GOOD! That white that turned to cream looks really cool. Great job on the restoration.

What did you use for the front tires? They look perfect.....and look like the cheater slicks from the Johan '64 Dodge drag car. I have to build that kit and would love to have it come out anywhere as nice as yours!

DF2,
As far as I can remember, the front tires came with the kit. The rear ones were way too large, so I used PPP dirt tires.
