Hello! It there a website or guide where I can find if there are any kit body differences depending on the year. For example, in the 2000 and 2005 Taurus, the body is the same?

There isn't a specific website that I could find. What has happened unfortunately with the move to forums and facebook the last 10 years has meant that a lot of sites such as Geocities where this information was posted have gone missing.

I'm personally mostly interested in mid 90s to early 2000s cars, and once I get some info compiled I'll make a post here with it.

The 2005 NASCAR Taurus kit is NOT the same as the 2000 kit. According to Scalemates, Revell used/introduced new tooling for the Taurus kit in 2005 which would be accurate for the 2004-2005 Fords. There is only one kit produced for the 2004-2005 Taurus series, the Matt Kenseth Dewalt kit (85-2858). I think the differences are in the nose, but there may be more changes. I'd have to dig into my stash to do a real comparison. You could probably get away with putting 2000 decals on a 2005 and vice versa if you really wanted to, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Scalemates (www.scalemates.com is your go-to for researching kits and when new tooling was introduced or changes were made.

Revell introduced three different body styles for its Tauruses during its NASCAR run from 1998 to 2005:

Ford Taurus
1998-99 A
2000-03 B
2004-05 C

The letter for each one is just my accounting to make sure I match the right body type/year to a decal set.

There are a ton of 98-99 kits produced for different drivers, an OK selection of the 2000-2003, and one 2004-2005.

HTH
