Supposedly Guardsman Blue.
But that isn't a metallic colour and, clearly from cars on display at the hall, it was a metallic colour. |

I'm so confused here. I've heard Guardsmen blue, same color as Mario's 67, but last night I saw a pick where it almost looked dark blue, white engine bay, I have a couple of pic of photos taken before the 65 Daytona race and it looks to be a medium metallic blue. I have a True Match can of a GM Buick Blue that I used for the roof of one of the Stroppe Mercury's it's also pretty close. Still need help on a Tamiya match ,or close, for the Jarrett 65 Ford. |

The color used from 63 until Ned's retirement in late 66 was Ford Guardsman Blue. Mario's car was Acapulco Blue, a factory FOMOCO color. Tamiya TS-19 is a close match to Ned's car but is a little light and does not have the metallic look of the real car. Hope this helps. |
