I have the Powerslide decals and was wondering what others have used for the Orange and how close it matches the decals?

I used MCW Bright Orange on my AK build and it wasn’t quite as “bright” as the decals.

Just wondering did you ever find a match for the orange and also what color did you use for the "white"? If I remember correctly its an off-white something like a Dover white. Thanks in advance.

I used plain old regular white and it looks good to me.

While I've never done an AK car, I would think Tamiya TS-12 would be close.

Edited to add:
I just gave a friend of mine that has done a couple of Kulwicki cars a call and he said he used decanted Tamiya TS-12 with just enough (decanted) TS-49 red to match the decals. He said he leaves the mix "half a hair" lighter than the decal and when it dries a little darker, it's dead on.

I used just the regular Tamiya orange on mine, TS-12 and it looks spot on to me. I did 2 coats of the orange (over the pure white) to get it to darken a hair and I am happy with mine.
