More 80's mania. I based this build off of AJ's car from the Talladega 500. Monogram Olds 88, Powerslide decals, MM Hugger Orange and Tamiya TS14 Black. Molded in the A pillar roll bars, AMT window net, made a RT side window and sideskirt for the plate package, AJ ran this crazy front ductwork panel that I recreated with foil tape and round decals, and a woodgrain dashboard top.
Thanks for looking,

Looks great! What was your technique for the wood grain dash? |

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.
hemiman, according to Racing References his last Daytona 500 was 92.
Rob, I painted the dash flat brown and then dry brushed flat black side to side for the grain effect.
Thanks again! _________________ Joe Oteri

The last Daytona 500 Foyt ran was in '92 and was in the #14 Oldsmobile.
His last Nascar race was at Indy in '94 in a #50 T-Bird.

Beautiful as always. Would have never thought to use the AMT window net. Great work. |
