It was a '72 Torino, raced 1 time at the season opening '73 Riverside race.
Started 7th, finished 4th. Bobby Unser driving.
Here's my questions about this car seen below:
1. Was the exterior white & black or was it dark blue?
2. What was the main color of the interior?
Most of the photos of "the original" car I've seen are black & white pix.
Not interested in what it looks like now.
Thanks ! _________________ Hondo |

Seems like blue interior, black cage, from the car featured in this fine publication I purchased a while back. Someone with a closer connection with the book might know more...

Bright white with DARK blue for the exterior. I thought black also, followed some pics and then found out from an expert it is dark blue. Interior is light blue like wheels |

Thanks for the replies.
I have researched this and looked at pictures many times over, plus talked to my good friend who worked at H-M then.
WBJ., I tend to agree with you except the wheel color.
I still think the wheels on this photo are not light blue.
(Dan Ford the jackman here may remember)

I would think if the wheels were light blue in that photo, that they would show as a similar grey tone as the blue side of the Pepsi logo. Throwing my two cents in... |
