Disaster! I let the paint cure for a few days then this happened when I hit it with the clear coat. Both are acrylic enamels. I don't get it.

Well I think my problem is the pink was Rustoleum and the clear was Ace Hardware brand. I've been using Ace for quite a while and never have a problem. Rustoleum must be the issue. |

the two are not compatible....have to use the same brands. even if they are the same type, each manufacturer blends differently. |

Rusto is not a model paint. I’ve seen so many pics exactly like this with their paint. |

I would disagree with you. I have used Testors primer, MCW or Tamiya paint, and Testors clear... all lacquer, without any issues. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Body #1 is soaking in the tub. Body #2 painted & clear coated.
