Sometime this week I am going to attempt to airbrush Testor's Metallic Silver. I decanted this afternoon. Is there any special tips or tricks to the process?

The object to which the paint will be applied are the bumpers on the Revell But Max funny car.

as always thanks for the assistance.

Use testors fine white primer. Two good coats, light rubbing after with 3,000 grit or finer. Get your silver paint thinned to the consistency of milk. Spray st 12 psi, six to eight inches away, 15 psi, go 8 to 10 inches away.

I hope more guys will chime in here but, I've found to get Testor's bright silver at it's best, you need a flat, white base. That's what works for me, from my war gaming figure days.

The only thing I can add is that the airbrush will require an throurgh cleaning aftwards. The metallic particles can take a lot of work to completly remove. silver will typically cover pretty easily.

I usually use Tamiya white primer. This should be good?
