#3 build of 2020!
Only change was wheels and tires to make it a replica of one I used to work on at the VW shop a lifetime ago! Laughing

That sure brings back some GREAT memories. That looks cool with those wheels. That interior shot REALLY brought back some cold memories in the winter of 1972 at Ayers Kaserne, Kirch-Gons Germany (my first tour). Cool build...

Yep! No exactly a winter time car! Laughing
I ran a vacuum cleaner hose from the passenger side air duct under the back seat to the front with a bracket I could put it in so it would blow on the windshield.
Ran one on the drivers side under the seat to keep my feet warm!
In my 64 Baja bug I used a 12 volt hair dryer! When it wasn't pointed at the windshield it was stuck down the front of my coveralls! Laughing

Nice! I had a '71 dark green bug, nice car but was miserable in the winter, had to scrape windshield inside AND out!!!! Don't miss that at all!---John

Man John...what a great idea for the defroster. I REALLY like the Hairdyer idea in the coveralls....Hell ya...got to keep the boys warm for sure. Once I shifted to 4th..my free hand went right to that area for sure. Not as good as the Hair dryer but it was better than Nothing.. LOL

Looks great!
It's a fun kit. Everyone should build it at least once. Smile
