So I am new to the forum, mostly thanks the recent goings on in the world I kind of have more free time than I like and I am stuck without a garage to work on my real race car.

I picked up this kit off eBay that the guy had kind of started [he painted 2 things] last week.

This is the first model I feel I have 100% completed. I started many of them when I was a kid [I even recently found a few] but I never finished them.

All I had to do this one was an exacto knife, tweezers, 10 year old glue, 1 brush and a couple of very old paints. All the paint was brushed on. My masking tape was a business card.

Most race car sanctioning bodies have a 50 foot appearance rule, so I feel it looks good from 2 feet [1/25]

I did not realize it until looking at these photos, but I did forgot Terry Labonte's name and it might be in the trash Embarassed

The next kit I am building is one that is about 40% finished I started back around 1999 or so. It's a Sterling Marlin Maxwell House T-Bird but I am thinking of doing a Junie Donlavey car out of it instead.

I also found a Polar Lights Cyclone Spoiler II kit. I have not been able to do an inventory on what is missing.

Picking up a bit more tools and such to make things go a little smoother. My girlfriend is taking an interest in model building now too and she picked up a donor and decals to build Janet Guthrie's 1977 #68 Kelly Girl Daytona 500 car. She is a lot more patient than me so I am expecting it to be pretty nice.

Welcome back and great job on that one!!! I might have an old Kellogs decal sheet with Terry's name on it, you're welcome to it if they are the same, let me know.
