Great job!! I built a couple of these using the conversion. The conversion for this kit is not for the faint of heart. Fortunately our patience will be rewarded in a couple of months with the Salvino's kit. |

Yes I just heard about the new kit ! Great news . I have one more to post in a couple of days . I wonder if the new kit will be 1/25th of 1/24th ? Is it the Monogram kit retooled ? |

It's Dupont Ford Grabber blue. I see so many Petty blues on models from manufactures to kit builders that they ALL look different . Never has there been a color on models that effects me more. I have Slot cars, diecast and all are different. You even have to realize that the smaller you go the color you paint with may not look correct. Paint colors is a great topic . I have used True match Petty blue from the 60s True match from the 70s , mixed home brews , Tamiya light blue . I need a drink .. LOL.. |
