My first "real" attempt at weathering. The Revell (new tool) 1968 Beetle is a great little kit if you want a change of pace.

Spectacular job! Either of those shots could be easily mistaken for the 1:1 bug.
Great job distressing it and catching the feel of the early VW's .

Yep! Looks like many I saw come into the shop back in the day!
Mostly students at SIU down from the Chicago area!
Made some look like new again too!
GREAT job on the weathering! Only thing missing was a sagging running board!LOL

Just because the car got a little on the rusty side don't mean the owner didn't try to at least keep the old Bug clean! Cool
