Tired of waiting and searching, I took to the contact page and asked them if it will be back. This is their response:

"It’s currently not available due to testing for relabeling by the Consumer Safety Commission. It was originally scheduled to be available by the end of the year, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case; sorry but we have no confirmed release date at this time."

Thank you,

Gary Demory
Tamiya America
Customer Service Supervisor

So it's not gone for good... yet. Hopefully it will be back soon.

Same deal was the white primer 9 years ago. California and the weird label laws they have.

That’s a great price, even without a “shortage”

I've been waiting... patiently... not gonna lie, thinking about cheating on Tamiya with another brand. Problem is I'm finicky and it took me years to decide I liked it best.
