Havent touched a plastic model since the mid 90s. Luckily places like this teach you the tips and tricks of making them a little easier and increase detail.
Pretty much box stock with a combo of mikes powerslides and my laser printer for a few things. I cut little screen covers from a pepsi can and added the grilled decals to those. Turned out nice considering the lack of photos of the car.

Welcome back to the hobby. Box stock is cool. I build them how I like them. If they make me smile it was worth the effort. Nice work. Nice weathering on the front. _________________ Dennis

Great work! It’s easy to be heavy-handed with weathering but you nailed it! |

Awesome job on this one. The only problem I can see is you didn't post enough pictures of this fine model. We need more |

Thanks! i used more of a dry brushing effect. did the same around the white letters on the tires. most of these cars from that era were sandblasted to death on the front especially at darlington. im working on his Transouth 500 win from earlier that year and its going to have the primer showing underneath.
will post more pictures of both soon. |
