Decided to build a “Bertha” model with a Salvinos MC kit and Powerslide decals, if possible. I have the Laguna set, the Buick set, and the Buick set from the Salvinos kit.

Any suggestions as to which one would be the best fit? Even a combo of the 3 if necessary, that’s why i have them.

Hey 18degrees! What I do in that situation is to make a copy of the decals (b&w is fine.) (My printer can also make copies.) I then cut out the copied decal and place it on the body to see which one fits and looks the most accurate.

Another piece of advice based on my experience with Gatorade decals, is to cut out each individual letter in the word GATORADE as well as the orange lightning bolt on the quarter panel decal. I've never been able to get the entire GATORADE (including the orange lightning bolt) decal to form correctly over all those complex curves when using the entire decal on the quarter panels. Even using Solvaset and Microset/Microsol. I even used Tamiya X-20A which usually melts the decals, to get them to conform.

This advice is based on my experience in ruining two Powerslide Gatorade decal sheets before learning my lesson. Hope this helps!
Bobby

Thank you Bobby for that little tidbit of information. I have the Laguna down the long long road to build.

The Powerslide decals for the Laguna kit fit it just fine, Dave. You have no worries like what i’m talking about.
