What does everyone think is the best glue to use? I’ve been using super glue for years but the problem I have with it is when using on painted parts, especially black and other dark colors, a white haze appears around the area where the glue was used. Even when I’m extremely careful the haze will often appear. I don’t use it on ‘glass’ and avoid using it on body pieces after painting but it drives me nuts knowing it’s there. What’s everyone else using? Thanks[/quote]

On my desk....
Testors tube glue
Flex-I-file liquid solvent
Gorilla glue (light blue cap)
5 minute epoxy
Elmer's clear glue
Future floor shine (Pledge floor shine now)
I use most of these on each build...each where it works best.

Dave's wise. Different cements for different materials and applications.

Tube glue
Micro-Mark's version of Ambroid Pro-Weld (liquid cement)
Epoxy (several different types)
Super Glue (I buy cheap stuff and store it in the freezer)
Testor's Clear Parts Cement
Watch Crystal Cement

These take care of 99% of my gluing/attaching needs.

All the glues listed above are excellent. To avoid hazing, coat with futureshine. Even keeps windows from hazing.
