I haven't built any racing models since the early '90s. Dale Sr. was my guy and I have recently bought 8-10 kits of his to build, mainly the special paint schemes. I was surfing and ran across a pic of the Kodak Advantix car. I had forgotten how sharp that scheme was. I bought a set of Slixx Kodak Advantix decals for Bobby Hamilton's 1999 Chevy. In the instructions, it says to use on a Revell/Monogram 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo slab side kit, so my question is which '97 Chevy kits were slab side? I need to know so I don't get the wrong donor kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The slab side kits are the ones with the flat sides that extend straight down the early monte carlo kits have a round lower edge to them.. an example of the slab side kit is the earnhardt "plus" kit or the bass pro shops kit that revell released.

www.mikesdecals.com he has donor kits that are labeled appropriately for the round and slab side kits.
