The Revell kit with Petty decals but no real way to build it as a Nascar.
Used Kiet Marks Decals on the body.
The paint came from a gut that owned a Mopar that color and had just enough touch up paint in a spray can to do the job. Dropped the nose on the floor and got it full of dirt so had to repaint with Model master paint thus the difference in color.

Fantastic work Johnny! You really nailed "the look" of the real car. The detail and chrome foil work looks great again, as it does on all your builds
Gotta love the Wingcars...

Thanks. I sold my Johan Superbird a couple years back to help pay doctor bills and picked this one up to replace it.
My next one will be the dreaded AMT Charger Daytona kit. |

Awesome job. How did you make the seats look so real? What kind of paint? Flat or semi gloss? |

Just used Testors semi gloss black enamel. Make sure you mix it really well every time or it will be too shiny.
Another method I have used is flat black then after thoroughly dried used a little oil off my forehead. Just rubbed my finger over my forehead to pick up some oil off the skin and rubbed it onto the painted surface and buffed with a soft tissue. |
