KS: The lights are on, the fans are out, and the thunder is coming! Hello everyone, I'm Ken Squire coming at you from the heart of racing country, Concord, North Carolina. It's the Mtn. Dew 150. With me as always is Darrell Waltrip, 3-time NASCAR champion and Darrell, we've had races on some interesting configurations but tonight, we're on a triangle. What can we expect from tonight's event?

DW: A lot of confused spotters because they're all gonna want to call that last corner before the line "turn 4" but there IS no turn 4! But seriously, these 3 turns are tight and fast. I think we'll see some good racing tonight.

KS: Indeed and with that, we take you trackside.

Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for our national anthem.

And now, race fans, here with the most famous words in motorsports, North Carolina's own Dale Earnhardt Jr.!

DEJ: On behalf of Mtn. Dew and their longtime support of our state's racing heritage, drivers, start your engines!

Green Flag

DW: Boogit boogity boogity! Lets go racin' in Carolina!

KS: And Terry grant starts off with a bang! 2 car length advantage as they come out of turn 1.

DW: And the 93j of Jeremy Rosander looks like he spun the tires on that start. Hick Strutlin and last weeks winner Cisco Rosander hang him out to dry in turn 2.

KS: Meanwhile, Terry grant sails through turn 3 and to the stripe to lead lap 1 here in Concord.

Lap 57

DW: Look at this move by Larry Fine on the outside of Bobby Dravin! He read that block and shot to the inside up in 3.

KS: Fine to the 7th spot! And our leaders are Terry Grant, Hick Strutlin, and Jeremy Rosander coming bac from losing 6 spots on that start.

Lap 88

KS: And a battle for the 4th spot, Darth Vader and Trish Grant.

DW: Oh no, she get's loose and goes hard into the wall in turn 1!

KS: Take a look at the replay, Darrell. We see Vader with a hand off the steering wheel.

DW: Not sure if he's signaling the cars behind him or what but that 7 car just snapped loose. No contact was made so looks like she just lost it.

Lap 104

DW: Here we go, 3-wide battle for the lead!

KS: Strutlin, Terry Grant, and Jeremy Rosander side by side by side! Out of turn 3, it's Rosander with the lead.

DW: Rosander pulls away but the 13 and the 15 are still goin' at it. And contact!

KS: Strutlin spins it around but gathers it up and gets back in the racing groove. No caution but that puts him back to 4th.

Lap 117

KS: Terry Grant is still working that bumper of Jeremy Rosander but is still unable to close the deal.

White Flag

KS: One final lap to determine the winner. Grant has Jeremy Rosander in his sights. He makes a try in turn 1... not going to make it.

DW: He lost a bit going into 2 but he reels him back in.

KS: Into turn 3, Grant puts the horn to the 93j. BOTH cars are loose but they gather it up coming to the stripe. Jeremy Rosander wins the Mtn. Dew 150 in Concord! Valiant effort by Terry Grant but he manages to maintain for a 2nd place finish.

DW: Larry Fine fought like a cornered cat and clawed his way up to 3rd. Darth Vader gets by Hick Strutlin to take 4th from him, Cisco Rosander comes home in 6th, and Lee "Spud" Loggins finishes 7th.

KS: JR Sealey finishes 8th, Bobby Dravin is 9th, and Rob Stofel continues to struggle with a 10th place finish. Out from a spin after halfway is the 7 of Trish Grant in 11th.

DW: Man, that move at the end was about as old school as you can get in racing!! I'm still shakin'!!

KS: Indeed. For Darrell Waltrip, I'm Ken Squier. Thank you for joining us and we'll see you next week in Terre Haute, Indiana for the Exide 100.
