Latest "on the bench" completion...….Tighe Scott was a dirt racer from Pennsylvania who raced nascar 5-6 years in the early 80's. My connection to the car was his sponsor.....a lady's clothing line that my dad sold in his department store in the 70's. Some of the first clothes I purchased for my girlfriend (now my wife) were Russ Tog.
The build includes the box from an AMT Pepsi kit, chassis is a modified 352 Peterbilt, cab is a resin Dodge LS-1000 from AIT truck models, the trailer is from the Revell Chevy Van kit, and the Olds is the Salvinos kit. Greg Holland made the decals and was very patient with my request. Usually the era of nascar hauled the car in a box trailer behind the truck, but I wanted it visible. I tubbed the box made several modifications to the truck chassis to get the cab to tilt and all other items such a exhaust to line up. Car is pretty much box stock with resin bumpers. The top of the box is loose, I plan to add some cabinets engines etc. later, but for now I need a break. Thanks for looking

Yea -- really nice build. Based on the make & paint job, I'd guess the prototype hauler was an ex - Harry Hyde / Armor All car # 5 ???

Now that is something you don't see every day, and a team you certainly don't see represented that often. Better still, it's well-executed. Those "rrrrrruss" titles always make me smile a little (sounds like something a dog would say!) and are straight out of the era. Very well done on all counts.

That is a sweet looking combo. I have one of those truck cabs. What chassis did you use?

Again, an excellent build!!

I used the AMT 352 Coke Peterbilt for the chassis, with several modifications. I think the best choice is the AMT GMC Titan 95 which has just been rereleased. I have another Dodge cab so I will try the Titian for the next build.

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone
