I'm not really a Ford guy but, I've been asked to do a Brewster Baker car from "Six Pack" and have been given a 1983 Rookiee combo set to work with. The other car is supposed to be Stroker Ace.

Obviously I can't build Brewster's car out of an '83. So if someone has a spare 1981 body set we can swap, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for looking.

Adam, I think I've got an Earnhardt Square-Bird body. Is that what you're looking for?

Ummm.. I don't know. Rolling Eyes Which are the Basset? If they're the ones in the Regal kits I can copy them. Thank you for offering though.

Aren't they the wheels Petty had that kept breaking on them?

The Bassett 9 holes came in all the Monogram GM kits. I'm not sure about the wheels breaking.

Didn't all the Monogram Fords come with 5-hole wheels? I'm looking at a wheel from the Marlin/Maxwell House T-Bird and it is the 5-hole with the slots indented but not a real hole and I seem to remember the Elliot/McDonalds did too. I've only built the GMs so am not really up on the Fomoco's.

Yes, the MonogramThunderbirds came with 5 hole wheels up until somewhere around 1994 or so. And they were always chrome. I think the last issues of the.89-94 Fords were the first with the 9 holes.
