Just saw a video on Facebook. Salvinos are looking to release a Pontiac 2+2 in 1/24 scale by the end of the year. Surprised Smile Very Happy

He's got a ways to go with that rear window.

Rear window looks close to me. It was a lot longer and less flat than the Monte Carlo rear window and it has the correct bulge/bow at the upper portion just behind where it meets the roof. The trunk lids were TINY on those cars.

Rear window didn't look too bad......it was a odd duck!
A buddy of mine, a big die hard Pontiac guy, bought one new.....HORRIBLE car build quality. It was hard as heck to get a tire out of the trunk, the nose started to sag right away....rear window leaked.....on and on....but cool race cars!!! Let's hope!

Take a closer look, same clunky 3d work as the Monte. Hard edges where they shouldn't be. Not being negative, just saying he has a ways to go.

The sheet metal was the same as the regular Grand Prix that was raced, both Bumper covers , rear glass, deck lid and maybe the hood was the only difference over the notch back Grand Prix. I worked at a Pontiac Dealer in the 80's and only ever saw 2 of these cars upclose.

I think we could tell a lot more with an opaque body and better lighting. Can't tell much from this.

I'll suggest it to Rick. However I'll tell you what my drill instructor said after my last "suggestion". "That's a great idea! Probably won't happen."

Agree. A coat of primer would tell the tale. Didnt realize the Monte Carlo was mocked up in 3d. There's a missed opportunity.
