With the C.V. Pontiac GTO having a habit of leaving its connecting rods on the race track (clear body AND see-through block?), David Pearson ran a roadrunner in the 71 Firecracker 400. Does anybody have any pictures of this car, please?

Thank you very much Tony, I'm sorry you're unable to post pictures at this time, and unfortunately I can't either. You answered my question, and I hope I was able to answer a few of yours. Thank you.

By the way, posting photos isn't difficult. I use imgur as a photo hosting program. You can just drag your photo to the imgur screen, and it will upload automatically. Then, just get the URL of the photo you just uploaded, click on the Img button on this forum and paste the URL of the photo. That's it.

I have heard of this car over the years but have never seen a pic I really want to see it and most likely I will build one to go into my David Pearson Collection. It also fits with my favorite time frame for NASCAR builds 1968 to 1972

hemiman, if you will google "midwest racing archives chris vallo" it has a shot of B. Unser standing beside this car looking like it did at Daytona, except it is wearing #10 in the pic.

hemiman, just found two more pics of the car. google "1950 to 1980s stock cars -coles" it has a pic of Unser racing A.J. and a solo pic on the track that shows the roof, trunk, and front spoiler detail. the front spoiler is a little unique.

The first pic is about 6 rows down on the right (with A.J.) and the second is 25 or 26 rows down on the far left.
Found a good color shot of it in front of Nichel's shop by googling "Bobby Unser #10 1971 Plymouth" and clicking on the "images for"

finally got it-- https://www.colesracingphotos.com/Ken-Coles-Racing-Photos/Early-Stock-Cars-1950s-1960s/
