A series of setbacks. The ISP notified Bob Hanner they had detected MALWARE in the board software. That was removed, but it appears that by some unknown force the database tables were corrupted. After MANY MANY tries by Bob to resurrect the data, he finally had to throw in the towel and start clean. SOME of the old posts are being recovered by various users on historical copies of the board and re-posted. Sadly we lost a lot, but after the loss of so many pictures a few months back, it was probably just as well to start rebuilding. |

I thank those that got us up.....my real job was Sr System Analyst for mainframe computers....I know the issues.
But at close to 10K posts, many how to, I do not have the will or time to restore any of my old info. They are just gone. |

I'd recommend creating a backup forum at Pro Boards. Their site is free, & easy to create & format. That way if anything like that happens again, there's a choice of transfering the info back to this forum, or just switching over to the other. I'm in several forums on modeling at Pro Boards. |
