That's unfortunate. I'm getting to the age where a lot of entertainers and athletes I followed when I was young are now getting to this stage of their lives. It really brings home that time is a precious commodity. |

I'm at the stage that about three days a week someone I went to school with or worked with is on the obituary page of the paper. |

Not a good week to be famous, especially for anyone that people on this board are familiar with. |

Roy Clark was an incredible talent -- Guitar, Banjo, Dobro, Fiddle, Drums, even Keyboards. His rendition of the fast Guitar instrumental Malaguena was AWESOME. ( Look on YouTube for the version he did on the Odd Couple TV Show. ) Speaking of TV, it's a shame that many people only know him from that ghastly 1970's show HEE - HAW. Both he & Buck Owens were so much better than that. RIP Roy... |

RIP
At one time back around 1974 found a Cassette tape of one of his live performances at the old Landmark Hotel in Vegas.
Found an edited version on CD a few years ago, that had part of that recording along with part of another show that was recorded in Vegas....
In the "2nd Show" he did a "mean" version of Dueling Banjos with Buck Trent. _________________ Ed. K |

May be the car he raced but not as he raced it.
I know when he raced it it was a Max Wedge car with the dual quads and a lot of things on that car were not around at the time he raced it.
She has been upgraded quite a bit! |
