Coming from my imagination, this 64 GTO started as a Polar lights kit and I utilized most of the kit parts, including the chassis. Built from the ground up with cage, front clip hoop four shocks up front and long truck arms pirated from a NASCAR kit. Designed to see action in the old Permatex, nee busch, neeXfinity series. Paint is Polar Lights red and Tamiya gunmetal. Tires and rims are PPP, decals are Slixx, Gofer, and Microscale. Hope you like it!

Slimster...you've gone and done it again!!! That's a very cool looking goat for sure. The paint scheme is killer..specially for that time period. Good detail work and that chassis really pops. Great job my friend....

Bob James actually raced one like that in the '69 Permatex 300. You definitely captured the look!

WOW Stock Door handles and locks, chrome drip rails and vent windows makes you wonder did it still have power steering and brakes maybe A/C too...
But still an interesting modeling subject do you have any more pics and who here would be interested in decals I think it would be a fun build of a very uncommon NASCAR race car but not a big item with the public in general but if I decide to do it for myself I would run extra decals for anyone here that wanted a set
