Nice job on that one. I remember the white upper was a mystery at one time. |

Great looking build. High on my to do list. Had thought of using Johan 64 interior and chassis but nice to know Lindberg will fit. Bwt it will work on my 63 Dodges too.

Yes, as the 63 Plymouths & Dodges shared the same underpinnings, so the JoHan bodies will share the same chassis, (& did, from JoHan), so the Lindberg chassis fits almost perfectly. I've got a JoHan 64 Dodge hartop I'm trying out both an AMT B Body chassis under, (AMT 68/69/70 Plymouth/Dodge, first tooled up in the late 80s/early 90s), & the Lindberg chassis under. The AMT fits just a touch better, but the Lindberg fits well too. |

Sweet!!! Really nice build. The only rub with the Lindy kits, are that they don't have the front race hoop, and shock setup that was used on these cars, easy fix though. I keep an assortment of the old JoHan kits for just what you did. Thanks for sharing. |

I know I've already posted, but I couldn't resist coming back to slobber some more over your beautiful build. Got any chassis pics you'd care to share with us. The only problem with the very nice AMT '68 Roadrunner, and other similar kits is that they don't have the race goodies that the Petty Lindberg kits have. Thanks soooo much for sharing your build with us. |

Great build, Slim!
A bit before my time in following NASCAR, but love seeing these older builds, as they show the history of NASCAR.
And even a bit before I became a race fan....
AND one of the reasons I enjoy this site!!!! _________________ Ed. K |
